In New York, today it was the Bubble Battle Day. The organizers reminded everyone: “bring bubble toys, bubble generators, bubble solution, plenty of AA batteries… and your bubbly self!”
Well, people have definitely heard them.

In Union Square bubbles were everywhere.
Some bubbles came from small bubble toys.

And, some came from big bubble generators.

Adults were more into creating different size and shape big bubbles. Ali, from Bangladesh, was one of them, making bubbles.
I took some pictures of him, and left to walk around. Came back almost one hour later, he was still there, this time teaching children with a big smile, love and patience how to make bubbles with that tennis racket shape generator.

Ali, as teaching children how to make bubbles, was having a nice time.
I asked: “Aren’t you tired or bored? You have been here for a long time”.
Ali: “ No, not at all. I came here from work. This is like a therapy, like a vacation. Besides, I like to teach children. Look at them, how talented they are”.

Another talent was Iqra. Her method was different from the rest of the other bubble makers. No tools, no bubble generators she used. Only her hand and her friend Fatima who provided solution all she needed.
“You are doing a great job. When and how did you learn to do this?” I asked.
They both laughed. “ When we were kids, in the shower,” they said.

Everyone was having fun, some by making bubbles and some by trying to reach and burst them.

Even George Washington from his statue seemed to reach bubbles.
No one got hurt, everyone had fun. It was a kind battle.
