Relatives, friends of victims who died when two hijacked planes hit the WTC 1 and WTC 2 towers on 11 September 2001, and anyone wishes to visit, gathers at ground zero, 9/11 Memorial, to remember, to honor victims.
I like to get there late afternoon to see flowers, flags, pictures of victims, and some more personal, objects put by the names of victims.
This year I am staying later than sun goes down, to see the Tribute in Light.

The Tribute in Light is an art installation in two columns of light to represent the WTC 1 and WTC 2 towers that collapsed on 11 September when two hijacked planes hit the Twin Towers.
Not only the Tribute in Light is in blue, but also everything looks blue.

A Callery pear tree known as the Survivor Tree that was discovered at Ground Zero weeks after 11 September (9/11) was sent to a Parks Department nursery in the Bronx,. The tree was returned in 2010 to the
National September 11 Memorial.
