Angry and tired of mass shootings protesters on Saturday, 11 June joined “March for Our Lives Gun Control Rally”.
“March for Our Lives” started from Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan.
Protesters, especially parents, reminded of 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17. 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut , that killed 28. 2022 shooting in a supermarket, Buffalo, NY, that killed 10. 2022 shooting at Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, Texas, that killed 21, and demanded federal law to stop gun violence.
I asked a father with his three kids with him: “Did you march with your children?”
He said: “Yes we did. They got tired and complained a little. But the energy of marchers made them carry on. (He smiled) Now it is time to have lunch they like .”
